Who is eligible to undertake the IGKO examination?

All students in grades 1–10 are eligible to compete in the International General Knowledge Olympiad. Students do not need to prepare for any additional exams after taking this one because it is only one level. As previously stated, with the exception of students in the 11th and 12th grades, all students still in school can easily compete in the International General Knowledge Olympiad.

What organisation is in charge of the International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)?

The IGKO is organised online by School Connect Online. The School Connect online is a educational organisation that encourages academic competition among students. It has used a variety of fun-filled innovative activities for more than two decades to encourage knowledge outside of the classroom and toward scientific studies.

Is the syllabus consistent across all classes?

No, not all classes follow the same curriculum. Curriculum levels differ from class to class. Otherwise, the result would be unacceptably bad.

Is the IGKO exam only available in English?

School connects online and administers the IGKO exam entirely in English. There are no other languages to choose from when registering and enrolling.
